Lawrence city commissioners will receive a staff report concerning a proposed rezoning moratorium along 31st Street between Iowa and Louisiana streets.
A coalition of Lawrence neighborhoods has asked the city to impose the moratorium on rezoning on the site, targeted by developers for a Home Depot store. Commissioners have already delayed a vote on the project, citing the uncertain future of 31st Street in connection with the South Lawrence Trafficway.
