— No. 52 Kansas could not overcome No. 21 Texas A&M;'s women's tennis team, falling 6-1 on a windy Sunday afternoon at the Plaza Tennis Center.

The loss evens KU's record at 11-11, 4-6 in the Big 12. Freshman Courtney Steinbock delivered KU its only win at the No. 3 singles position, defeating Texas A&M;'s Olivia Karlikova, 6-3, 6-2.
