HASKELL TO HOST SCIENCE, ENGINEERING CONFERENCE

The conference is hosted by Haskell Indian Nations University students

AISES participants will gather Friday for a 5 p.m. banquet at Stidham Hall. Saturday sessions open with a continental breakfast at 7:30 a.m. in Sequoia Hall.

A student club-sponsored powwow is expected to begin around 6 p.m. Saturday at Coffin Complex, featuring music by Tha' Tribe, the drum group that has a song on the "Gathering of Nations" compilation CD, which recently won a Grammy for American Indian music.

The conference ends Sunday with a day-long job fair at Tecumseh Hall.

AISES is a national organization dedicated to getting American Indian high-school and college students involved in science, engineering and business studies.
