Mrs. Shryer died Friday, April 6, 2001, at her home.

She was born June 21, 1940, in Denver, the daughter of Otto and Helen (Breckenridge) Weisendanger. She moved to Tonganoxie in 1994 from Kansas City, Kan.

Mrs. Shryer worked for J.C. Penney Co. Inc. for 28 years. She retired in 1999.

She married Norman Shryer Oct. 5, 1957, in Miami, Okla. He survives of the home.

Other survivors include a daughter, Deborah Seetin, Bonner Springs; a brother, J.R. Weiss, Lakewood, Colo.; a sister, Kathy Payne, Blue Springs, Mo.; and one grandchild.

A grandchild died earlier.

Friends may call from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday at Quisenberry Funeral Home, Tonganoxie.
