Law enforcement report

Burglaries and thefts reported

Alek's Auto Shop, 2150 Haskell, reported the theft of a green 1994 Acura Integra, valued at $6,900, between 7 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. Tuesday.

A 20-year-old male reported an auto burglary between 8 p.m. Tuesday and 7 a.m. Wednesday on the 2400 block of West 25th St. Speakers valued at $390 and an amplifier valued at $250 were stolen.

A 19-year-old male reported an auto burglary between 11:30 p.m. Tuesday and 8 am. Wednesday on the 1600 block of East 21st Terrace. Car stereo equipment and a backpack valued at $840 were stolen.

Injury accidents

Dennis Flory, 58, of Lawrence, was injured in an automobile accident at 11:05 a.m. Wednesday on U.S. Highway 59, approximately 17 miles south of Lawrence. He was traveling south when his vehicle crossed over the center line and side-swiped Danny Snyder, 36, of Appleton City, Mo., in a van traveling north. Flory was transported to Lawrence Memorial Hospital, where he was listed in satisfactory condition Wednesday night.

Condition reports

Robert M. Moya, 30, remained in fair condition Wednesday at Stormont-Vail Regional Health Center in Topeka. He was taken there after a motorcycle accident Sept. 1 on U.S. Highway 24 near the Jefferson-Shawnee county lines.

Deborah K. Chambers, 50, Lawrence, was listed in fair condition Wednesday at Kansas University Medical Center in Kansas City, Kan. She was flown there by helicopter after a two-vehicle accident July 29 on Kansas Highway 10 east of Lawrence.
