Services for Felicia Ann Bland, 39, Lawrence will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Lawrence. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Lawrence.
Mrs. Bland died Saturday, Sept. 16, 2000, in Johnson County as a result of an automobile accident.
She was born April 2, 1961, in Lawrence, the daughter of Juan and Maria Bermudez Ramos.
Mrs. Bland worked as an executive assistant for 18 years with the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America. She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church where she was an Eucharistic minister, worked on the Fiesta Committee and was active in the annual St. John School Action. She also was a leader in Junior Achievement and the Girl Scouts of America.
She married Jim Bland on May 30, 1992, in Lawrence. He survives of the home.
Other survivors her parents; a daughter, Michaela "Kylie" Rodriquez Bland, of the home; two brothers, Richard Ramos, Lawrence, and Jesse Ramos, Austin, Tex.; and two sisters, Yolanda Reyes and Linda Jaimez, both of Lawrence.
A rosary prayer service will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the church, where the family will receive friends after the service.
The family suggests memorials to the Kylie Rodriquez Bland Educational Fund at Capitol Federal Savings, sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary.
