Topeka Services for Anita Elaine Parton, 37, Topeka, will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Mount Hope Mausoleum Chapel, Topeka. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery, Topeka.

Mrs. Parton died Thursday, Aug. 31, 2000, at a Topeka hospital.

She was born Jan. 17, 1963, in Topeka, the daughter of Thomas G. and Veva Jean (Skinner) Guy. She moved to Topeka 25 years ago from Williamstown. She attended Williamstown Elementary School and graduated from Seaman High School in 1981.

Mrs. Parton had been a secretary.

She married Steve Parton in June 1986. They later divorced.

Survivors include her fiancDean Porter, Topeka; a son, Christopher W. Porter, of the home; a daughter, Heather Ashley Parton, Topeka; her mother, V. Jean Davis, Lecompton; her father and stepmother, Tom and Dorothy Belle Guy, Scranton; and three sisters, Debbie Spreer, Lecompton, Vickie Harding, Tucson, Ariz., and Loretta O'Trimble, Lawrence.

Friends may call after 9 a.m. Monday at the Barnett Funeral Home in Oskaloosa, where the family will receive them from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Monday.

The family suggests memorials to an education fund for her children or the organization of the donor's choice, sent in care of the funeral home, P.O. Box 416, Oskaloosa 66066.
