Topeka Memorial services for Larry Ross Gray, 51, Lyndon, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Penwell-Gabel Midtown Chapel, Topeka. Private family inurnment will be at a later date at Highland Cemetery, Ottawa.
Mr. Gray died Friday, Oct. 27, 2000, at Integris Baptist Memorial Hospital, Oklahoma City.
He was born Jan. 23, 1949, in Ottawa, the son of Ross and Caroline (Chamberlain) Gray. After moving to Topeka in 1957, he graduated from Highland Park High School in 1967 and later earned a business degree from Washburn University. He moved to Lyndon in 1997.
Mr. Gray owned and operated Pauline True Value Hardware for more than 20 years before selling the business in 1997. He was a longtime member of the Lyndon Saddle Club, and was a member of the Highland Park United Methodist Church, Topeka. He also was a member of Tau Kappa Epsilon fraternity.
He married Nancy Gaynor on Jan. 23, 1987, in Topeka. She survives of the home.
Other survivors include two daughters, Amy Gray, Kansas City, Mo.; and Maggie Fankhauser, Madison; his parents, Ross and Caroline, Topeka; a brother, John, Lyndon; and two grandchildren.
