Boulder, Colo. Colorado offensive tackle Victor Rogers will miss Saturday's game against Kansas because of a knee injury, coach Gary Barnett said Wednesday.
Offensive guard Karl Allis and center Andre Gurode have banged-up shoulders and guard Justin Bates has a sore knee. Gurode and Bates will play Saturday but Allis is questionable.
The injuries come as the 1-5 Buffs are a loss away from being eliminated from bowl contention.
Barnett said he is considering using freshman guard Marwan Hage and redshirt freshman Dan Major on Saturday.
"We have all sorts of options," Barnett said. "We still may move those chess figures around."
The Buffs are also hurting on the defensive side.
Cornerback Donald Strickland is out with a concussion and Nate Wright will be out with a chronic shoulder injury. Safety Medford Moorer suffered a season-ending knee injury against Texas and safety Albus Brooks has been out the past two weeks with a knee injury.
Barnett may use three relatively untested juniors. Cornerback Roderick Sneed, who was a partial qualifier in 1998, has played only on special teams the past two seasons. Safeties Jeff Brunson and Matt Duren both transferred to CU last season.
