Guss services

— Mass of Christian Burial for Robert Clarence Guss, 90, Baldwin, will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Annunciation Catholic Church, Baldwin. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Baldwin.

Mr. Guss died Monday, Oct. 16, 2000, at Brandon Woods Retirement Community, Lawrence.

He was born Sept. 29, 1910, in Biwabick, Minn., the son of Frank and Emma (Helsell) Guss. He moved to Baldwin in 1999 from Tucson, Ariz.

Mr. Guss was a lead inspector for Northwest Airlines, Minneapolis, Minn., for 30 years before retiring in 1972.

He married Mary Antoncich. She survives of the home.

Other survivors include two sons, Robert "Steve," Baldwin, and David L., Casa Grande, Ariz.; a brother, Clyde, Palm Desert, Calif.; and two grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials to St. Christopher's Inn Franciscan Friars of the Atonement, Graymoor Manor, sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary.
