Services for Agnes Teresa McHugh, 93, Lawrence, will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Warren-McElwain Mortuary, Lawrence. Burial will be at 1 p.m. Friday in Washington City Cemetery, Washington.
Mrs. McHugh died Sunday, Nov. 26, 2000, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.
She was born July 19, 1907, in Greenleaf, the daughter of John Phillip and Flora Cecilia (Wilson) Klataske. She moved to Lawrence in 1976 from Washington.
Mrs. McHugh was a nurse's aid at Homestead Nursing Home, Washington, for 16 years before retiring in 1975. She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Lawrence, For Ever Young Group, Rosary Group, Lawrence chapter of United Ostomy Assn., and Welcome Wagon.
She married Matthew William McHugh on Sept. 22, 1932, in Greenleaf. He died Aug. 28, 1974.
Survivors include four sisters, Mary Swartz and Eleanor Tremblay, both of Washington; Alvena Gieber, Belleville; and Madlyn Nemic, Boulder, Colo.; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
A son, John McHugh, died Sept. 27, 1986.
The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the mortuary.
