Leavenworth Services for Janet Sue (McFarland) Comstock, 59, Leavenworth, will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the First Presbyterian Church, Leavenworth. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Lansing.

Mrs. Comstock died Thursday, Nov. 23, 2000, at her home.

She was born Oct. 15, 1941, in Stafford, the daughter of Eugene A. and Hope E. (Eustler) McFarland.

Mrs. Comstock owned and operated the Daffodil Clothing Shop, Leavenworth, until she retired. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Leavenworth Area Chamber of Commerce, Leavenworth Landing Merchants Assn., Leavenworth Downtown Assn., Whittier Club, P.E.O., Woman on Wall Street Investment Club and the Gamma Phi Beta sorority at Kansas University.

She married Phil N. Comstock on April 7, 1963. He survives of the home.

Other survivors include a daughter, Heather Comstock Claybrook, Kansas City, Mo.; a son, Scott P. Comstock, Kansas City, Mo.; a sister, Diane L. McFarland, Lawrence; and a grandchild.

Friends may call after 2 p.m. Monday at the Davis Funeral Chapel, Leavenworth, where the family will receive them from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday.

The family suggests memorials to the Leavenworth Hospice, and they may be sent in care of the funeral chapel, 531 Shawnee, Leavenworth 66048.
