— Services for Jack Daily Farber, 75, Kansas City, Mo., will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Holmeswood Baptist Church, Kansas City, Mo. Burial will be in Mount Moriah Cemetery, Kansas City, Mo.

Mr. Farber died Monday, Nov. 20, 2000.

He was born Aug. 25, 1925, in Kansas City, Mo. He graduated from Kansas University in 1945.

Mr. Farber served in the Navy during World War II and the Korean War.

He was vice president of Burns & McDonnell Engineering Co. and retired in 1988 after 42 years with the company.

He was a member of Holmeswood Baptist Church, where he served as deacon.

He married Vencie Lee Farber. She died earlier.

Survivors include two sons, Sterling E. and Brian D.; a daughter, Janis Lieberman; a sister, Shirley Wilcox, and eight grandchildren.

Friends may call from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at Mount Moriah & Freeman Chapel, Kansas City, Mo.

The family suggests memorials to the Holmeswood Baptist Church, sent in care of the funeral home, 10507 Holmes, Kansas City, Mo. 64131.
