Meriden — Services for Hazel Noreen Pottorf, 77, Topeka, will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Barnett's Meriden Funeral Chapel. Private inurnment will be at a later time. She died Sunday, June 25, 2000, at the Rossville Valley Manor in Rossville.
Mrs. Pottorf was born July 1, 1922, in Holdenville, Okla., the daughter of Clarence E. and Ethel L. (Bennett) Brinlee. She had lived in Topeka since 1949, moving there from Wichita.
She was a 1940 graduate of the Yeager High School in Yeager, Okla. She was a homemaker and worked in aircraft plants in Wichita during World War II.
Mrs. Pottorf was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star in Oskaloosa.
She married Roland George Pottorf on July 29, 1946, in Wichita. He survives of the home.
Other survivors include three sons, Michael Pottorf, Sumter, S.C., Rex Pottorf, Silver Lake, and Mark Pottorf, Elmont; one brother, Oliver Brinlee, Holdenville, Okla.; two sisters, Waunita Brinlee, Holdenville, Okla., and Evalena Howard, Derby; 11 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
A daughter, Lois Eileene DeWitt, and two infant twin grandchildren died earlier.
