The North-South winners were led by Frances Vowel and Dorothy Arth followed by Leta and Wilbur White. Sara Jane Zimmerman and Michael Green placed third.
The East-West winners were led by Lola Williams and Julia Ward. Barbara McCorkle and Richard Moore tied for second place with Bebe Huxtable and Wanda Edmonds.

The North-South winners were led by Larry Bodle and Kent McCullough followed by Jerry Sloan and Patt Radford. Dave Piro and Robert Solick placed third followed by Clyde Romer and Gary Joyce. Session B winners were Dan and Vera Schultz. Session C winners were Frances Vogel and Dorothy Arth.
The East-West winners were led by Paul Heitzman and Virginia Seaver followed by Sally Taylor and Shirlie Vaughn. Terry Tolar and Brian Baresch placed third followed by Madelyn Jenks and Phyllis Brownlee. Session B winners included Judy Bevan and Lou Ann Lee. Session C winners were Cathy and Michael Blumenfeld followed by Wanda Edmonds and Bebe Huxtable.
THE JAYHAWK CHAPTER OF THE RETIRED OFFICER ASSN. had a brunch for its bimonthly meeting July 16 at the Lawrence Country Club. For the program, Lawrence Mayor Jim Henry spoke about his visit to Lawrence's sister city, Hiratsuka, Japan.
