Bledsoe sentenced to life in prison

OSKALOOSA — Floyd L. Bledsoe was sentenced to life in prison Friday for murdering his 14-year-old sister-in-law.

Bledsoe, 23, was convicted in May of kidnapping, molesting and killing Camille Arfmann last November.

In a long and rambling speech before a judge pronounced sentence, Bledsoe maintained his innocence and said he had been railroaded by Jefferson County authorities.

“They won’t listen to the facts,” he said. “The facts show I didn’t do this crime.”
