Alfred M. LaDuke

— Services for Alfred M. "Bud" LaDuke, 89, will be at 1:30 p.m., Tuesday at the Wilson & Son Funeral Home in Paola. He will be buried in the Paola Cemetery.

Mr. LaDuke died Friday, July 7, 2000, at the Center of Long Term Care, Olathe.

Mr. LaDuke was born Feb. 24, 1911 in Perry, the son of Ray A. and Laura R. (Corbin) LaDuke. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II in the European theater.

He was a carpenter and lived in Kansas for most of his life.

He married Ruth M. Grossman on Aug. 31, 1929. They later divorced.

Survivors include three daughters, Maxine Smith, Baltimore; Darlene Hill, Lawrence; and Shirley Coffman, Phoenix; 17 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and seven great-great grandchildren.

A son, Ray, died in 1993.

The family suggests memorials to the American Legion Dorsey-Liberty Post No. 14, Wall Memorial, 3408 W. Sixth, Lawrence 66049.
