Flurries likely this weekend

— Cloudy skies and possible snow in some regions are in the forecast for Kansas, the National Weather Service said.

Partly cloudy skies are expected today with highs from 20 northeast to near 40 southwest. Tonight there is a chance for light snow west and flurries central with mostly cloudy skies east and lows from zero to 5 above northeast and around 20 west.

The chance for snow in the west and flurries in the east continues Sunday. Highs will be in the teens east and 20s west.

Friday's highs ranged from 43 in Elkhart to 19 in Olathe. Lows were from 9 in Lawrence to 25 in Hutchinson.
