The December meeting of the Four Leaf Clover 4-H Club was called to order by Catie Johnson, president. Song leaders Michael Pollock and Lewis Hamel led the club in singing "Deck the Halls."

For the program, the following members of the leadership group performed a skit about 4-H Days: Catie Johnson, Nicole Henry, Anne Dinsdale, Jim Ashcraft, Erin Ashcraft, Colin Hamel, Michael Pollock, Kelly Flanders, Kim Livingood and Lindsey Rich.

Gifts and food items for the club's adopted family were collected at the meeting. The Naff and Zentic families were hosts.



After Christmas caroling at Orchard Lane Nursing Home, the Vinland Valley 4-H Club's December meeting was called to order by Michael Moore. The flag salute was led by Dennis Craig.

They sang "Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer."

Members answered roll call by naming what they want for Christmas. Leaders reminded members of the following dates: public speaking workshop, Jan. 3; judging clinic, Jan. 6; County Club Days, Feb. 3; Regional Club Days, March 3, and rabbit show concession, March 24.

Erin Regnier was elected council representative. The club voted to go bowling on Dec. 29. A cookie exchange took place after the meeting.

The next meeting will be at 7 p.m. Jan. 8 at Vinland Elementary School.



The Meadowlark 4-H Club met Dec. 12. Members answered roll call by naming what they really wanted for Christmas, but wouldn't receive.

Members who attended 4-H Sunday and went caroling were thanked.

The next meeting will be at 7 p.m. Jan. 9. The program will be given by the arts and crafts project members and the animal science project members. Host families will be the McElhaneys and the Tuleys.

Members are encouraged to help make tray favors at 6:30 p.m. before the meeting.
