Douglas lifts Purdue past Stanford, 90-60

— What most players would consider a successful season, Katie Douglas called a slump.

She broke out of it in a big way Tuesday night, scoring 20 points and adding 10 assists as No. 8 Purdue beat No. 14 Stanford, 90-60, to improve to 9-3.

Douglas came in averaging just 14.9 points, 5.5 points lower than last season's total.

No. 6 Duke 62, ORU 51

Cancun, Mexico Georgia Schweitzer had 17 points and seven steals as Duke beat Oral Roberts to win the Fun in The Sun Shootout.

No. 9 Auburn 69, Arizona 66

San Juan, Puerto Rico Lori Nero had 20 points and eight rebounds.

No. 10 Louisiana Tech 89, Texas-Arlington 44

Ruston, La. Kenya Bibbs scored 21 points in her first start,

No. 11 Texas Tech 94, SE Louisiana 37

Lubbock, Texas Amber Tarr hit five 3-pointers in a 41/2-minute span.

No. 12 Penn State 81, UC Santa Barbara 68

State College, Pa. Maren Walseth scored 20 points and Kelly Mazzante added 16.

No. 19 Mississippi State 68, Southern Miss. 53

Hattiesburg, Miss. LaToya Thomas had 30 points and 17 rebounds as Mississippi State beat Southern Mississippi.
