Kansas City, Mo. Kansas City Chiefs tight end Tony Gonzalez was picked as an AFC starter for the 2001 Pro Bowl, his second consecutive selection.
Gonzalez, who became the Chiefs' all-time leader in receptions during Sunday's 15-14 win over Carolina, was one of six AFC players and one of nine NFL players who were unanimous choices by coaches, fans and players.
Through 14 games, Gonzalez owns a Chiefs single-season record of 84 receptions for 1,071 yards 12.8 yards per catch and eight TDs. He leads all NFL tight ends in receptions, yards and touchdowns.
