Clyde Yakle

— Private family inurnment for Clyde R. Yakle, 91, Baldwin, will be at a later date at Mount Hope Mausoleum, Topeka. Cremation has taken place.

Mr. Yakle died Sunday, Dec. 3, 2000, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.

He was born June 11, 1909, the son of Grace (Randle) and Erheart Yakle. He grew up and attended schools in Baldwin.

Mr. Yakle worked in the Public Building Services Department of the federal General Services Administration. He was buildings manager for the Dwight D. Eisenhower Museum, Abilene, until his retirement.

He married Ruth Keeble on Nov. 11, 1930, in Council Grove. She died in November of 1977.

Survivors include two daughters, Patricia Jones, Gardner, and Karen Bouse, Bozman, Mont.; two sons, Jack, Tacoma, Wash., and John, Gulf State Park, Ala.; 20 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; and a good friend, Anna Clark.

A son, William, died earlier.

Friends may call after 1 p.m. Thursday at Lamb-Roberts-Heise Funeral Home, Baldwin, where the family will receive friend from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday.

The family suggests memorials to Kansas Heart Assn. or Kansas Lung Assn., sent in care of the funeral home, P.O. Box 64, 712 Ninth St., Baldwin 66006.
