Services for Sharral Hargadine Andrews, 59, Lawrence, will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at First United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Andrews died Sunday, Aug. 6, 2000, at Kansas University Medical Center.
She was born March 27, 1941, in Ashland, the daughter of C. DeLoss and Emma (Gaddis) Hargadine. She graduated from Lawrence High School in 1959, and moved back to Lawrence in the early 1970s from Golden, Colo.
Mrs. Andrews was a secretary at West Junior High School for several years before moving to Colorado and working at Trinity Lutheran Hospital, Denver. After returning to Lawrence, she worked at Farmland Industries as assistant personnel director for more than 20 years.
She married Rex Gentry in 1959. They divorced in 1972. She married Wayne "Andy" Andrews on Dec. 27, 1976, in Miami, Okla. He survives of the home.
Other survivors include three daughters, Lori Farmer, Lawrence; Tracy Garner, Little York, Ill.; and, Tara Andrews, Seneca, S.C.; three sons, Mark Gentry, Tecumseh, and Allen Gentry and Tyler Andrews, both of Lawrence; her parents, C. DeLoss and Emma Hargadine, Overland Park; a brother, Doug Hargadine, Overland Park; a sister, Mona Hargadine, Overland Park; and five grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home.
The family suggests memorials to Lawrence Humane Society, P.O. Box 651, Lawrence 66044.
