GARY LEE WARREN
Overbrook -- Services for Gary Lee Warren, 62, Overbrook, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the United Methodist Church in Overbrook. Burial will follow in Overbrook Cemetery.
Mr. Warren died Tuesday, Sept. 28, 1999, at his home.
He was born Jan. 29, 1937, in Overbrook, the son of Leonard Quito and Thelma Elizabeth (Woodruff) Warren. He graduated from Overbrook Rural High School in 1954.
Mr. Warren worked as a rancher for the Nichols Hidden Valley Ranch near Kansas City and as a foreman for the R.B. Ranch near Rantoul. He was a farmer and was a distributor for Coca-Cola in Lawrence.
He married Mary Frances Johnson in 1955 in Topeka. They later divorced.
Survivors include two daughters, Sherry Barr, Burlingame, and Terry Tucker, Carbondale; four brothers, Gerald, Overbrook, Larry, Lawrence, Gayle, Carbondale, and Darrel, Hutchinson; and two sisters, Betty Schirmer, Lawrence, and Sherry Tuckel, Lecompton.
A son, Barry J. Warren, died Feb. 10, 1991.
Friends may call from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the Greenwood-Roberts-Heise Funeral Home, Overbrook, where the family will receive friends from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. today.
