seminars, screenings
Jennifer Klemp, Kansas University Medical Center's cancer-risk counselor, will offer three free seminars in October on breast health education and risk factors for breast cancer.
The seminars are from noon to 1 p.m. Friday, Saturday and Oct. 14 at KU Medical Center's Mammography and Resource Center inside Jacobsen's department store.
In conjunction with the seminars, the mammography center will offer reduced price mammograms in October. Women must be at least 40 years of age and without symptoms.
Also in October, the KU Cancer Center will offer bone density tests at the mammography center.
