LOIS LAHMAN
Ottawa -- Services for Lois Lahman, 93, Ottawa, will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Lamb-Roberts-Heise Funeral Home, Ottawa. Burial will be at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at Clarksburg Cemetery, north of Garland.
Mrs. Lahman died Saturday, Sept. 25, 1999, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.
She was born July 10, 1906, in Hannibal, Mo., the daughter of William W. and Mary Helen (Wickersham) Davis.
She attended Hannibal schools and graduated from Hannibal High School in 1925.
She worked as a school teacher for one year at the Eureka school in Vernon County, Missouri.
Mrs. Lahman was a homemaker. She lived on a farm south of Garland for 44 years. She moved to Ottawa in 1970.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Ottawa and Garland, where she taught Sunday school and was involved in the Searchers Circle and the Friendship classes.
She married George Everly Lahman on Oct. 6, 1926, in Fort Scott. He died July 8, 1962.
Survivors include a daughter, Mary Evelyn Bundy, Ottawa, and two grandchildren.
Friends may call after 3 p.m. today until the service hour Tuesday at the funeral home.
The family suggests memorials to the First Baptist Church in Ottawa. Memorials may be sent in care of the Lamb-Roberts-Heise Funeral Home, P.O. Box 14, Ottawa 66067.
