KU to have program
for honor scholars
Students from 16 Kansas high schools will be honored as Kansas Honor Scholars at 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 30, at the Lied Center at Kansas University.
The event will include students from area counties and is sponsored by the Kansas Alumni Association and the KU Endowment Association.
The following students were named Kansas Honor Scholars for being in the top 10 percent of their class:
- Baldwin High School: Jessica Brumm, Karl Eisert, Blake Glover, Andrea Irick, Jarrett Johnson, Kendra Knight, Kathryn Miller, Natalie Moreau and Janae Nuspl.
- Basehor-Linwood High School: Jessica Carrico, Christine Collins, Megaen Creed, Kellen Cruden, John Daniels, Bridget Hampton, Mitchell Hancock, John Hills, Kevin Klamm, Josh Magaha, Heather Martley, Ashley Dawn Peterson, Angela Pooler and Luke B. Scott.
