SAWYER CHRISTIAN WELCH

Fraser, Colo. -- Services for Sawyer Christian Welch, 6, Fraser, Colo., will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Fraser Baptist Church. Burial will be in Fraser Valley Cemetery, Fraser, Colo.

Sawyer died Saturday, Sept. 25, 1999, at the Jefferson County Memorial Hospital, Winchester, Kan., as a result of injuries received in an all-terrain vehicle accident.

He was born Nov. 11, 1992, in Denver, the son of Edward and Tracy L. (Edmonds) Welch.

He was a first grader at Fraser Elementary School in Fraser.

Survivors include his parents, of the home; two sisters, Amanda Nicole Welch and Madison Sherri Welch, both of the home; his maternal grandfather, Don Edmonds, Houston; his maternal grandmother, Myrna Turner Ellsworth, Las Vegas; and his maternal great-grandparents, Bill and Mary Edmonds, McLouth.

Friends may call from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. today at the Barnett Funeral Home, Oskaloosa, Kan., and from 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. Friday at Fraser Baptist Church in Fraser.

The family suggests memorials to Swayer Welch Memorial Fund, and they may be sent in care of Schoenfeld Mortuary, 204 Byers St., Hot Sulpher Springs, Colo. 80451, or Barnett Funeral Home, P.O. Box 416, Oskaloosa, Kan. 66066.
