Law enforcement report

Burglaries and thefts reported

  • A 30-year-old Lawrence man reported that someone stole golf clubs and equipment valued on a police report at $1,650 between 7:30 p.m. Friday and 8:40 a.m. Saturday from a vehicle in the 1000 block of Ohio.
  • A 22-year-old Kansas University student reported that someone stole various items from his vehicle between 12:45 a.m. and 10 a.m. Friday in the 2600 block of West Sixth. Damage to the vehicle was $500 and value of the items taken was listed at $4,380, according to a police report. The report did not indicate what was stolen.
  • Laird Noller Mitsubishi reported that someone stole a white 1998 Mitsubishi Montero valued at $20,501 between 11:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. Thursday from the dealership at 2829 Iowa.

Sheriff's reports

  • A 34-year-old Eaglerock, Calif., man was booked into the Douglas County Jail on a warrant for robbery. The man was booked into the jail at 2:41 a.m. Sunday. It wasn't immediately clear if he was arrested on the warrant, or turned himself in. Details about the robbery also weren't available Sunday night. The man was being held Sunday night on $25,000 bond.
