Four bass enough
for tourney title
Mike Edrington of Shawnee and Matt Wolf of Overland Park won the Wednesday Night Bass Anglers year-end tournament of champions last weekend at Hillsdale Lake.
The winning duo caught four bass that weighed 16.68 pounds and won $780. Clarence Cooper of Paola and Troy Samsel of Wellsville placed second by catching three bass that weighed 13.40 pounds.
Terry Heathman of Ottawa and Doug Montis of Wellsville won the big-bass prize on the first day by catching a 7.38-pounder. On the second day, Andy Carrier of Olathe and Scott Golubski of Paola caught the biggest bass (6.45 pounds).
