THE ANNUAL Eagle Scout Dinner to honor all Scouts who have achieved the rank of Eagle Scout will be held Oct. 13 at Lawrence Country Club. Fellowship will begin at 6:30 p.m., followed by a dinner at 7 p.m. Jerod Haase, former Kansas University basketball star and two-time Academic All-Star, will be the featured speaker.
More than 30 Scouts have earned their Eagle this year in the Pelathe District, a record number. The Bromelsick Fund and the Breakfast Optimist Club will co-sponsor the event. Space is limited. For reservations, contact the advancement chairman, Allen Wiechert, 842-5467.
