PHYLLIS L. HYLER

Private burial for Phyllis L. Hyler, 80, Lawrence, will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Parsons.

Mrs. Hyler died Thursday, Sept. 23, 1999, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.

She was born June 2, 1919, in Oswego, the daughter of John Enin and Ethyl (Hopkins) Romine. She graduated from Oswego High School in 1937, and moved to Lawrence in 1998 from Parsons.

Mrs. Hyler had worked at Labette County Medical Center, Parsons.

She married Bill Blair in 1941, and they later divorced. She married Hal C. Hyler in 1948. He died Oct. 1, 1983.

Survivors include two sons, Philip B. Blair, Oswego, and Eric H. Hyler, Lawrence; a daughter, Debra L. Hyler West, Shawnee; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Monday at the Carson-Wall Funeral Home, Parsons.

The family suggests memorials to the American Cancer Society, and they may be sent in care of the funeral home, 112 N. 26th St., Parsons 67357.
