THE AMERICAN GUILD OF ORGANISTS, Topeka chapter, recently elected these officers: dean, Norma Pettijohn, organist of First Presbyterian Church, Topeka; sub-dean, Dina Evans, associate organist/choir director of Plymouth Congregational Church, Lawrence; secretary, David Ouzts, music director of Grace Episcopal Church, Topeka; treasurer, Helen Hawley, organist/choir director of Plymouth Congregational Church, Lawrence.

THE LAWRENCE DUPLICATE BRIDGE CLUB Monday night game attracted eight and one-half tables. The game was stratified and directed by Virginia Seaver. The North-South winners were led by Larry Bodle and Kent McCullough followed by Harriett Olson and Artie Shaw. Third place was James Gunn and Lester Dalton followed by Shirlie Vaughn and Sally Taylor. The East-West winners were led by Aziza and Zia Anwar followed by Terry Tolar and Gary Joyce. Third place was Patt Radford and Elizabeth Nice followed by Virginia Seaver and Paul Heitzman. Other winners included Phyllis Brownlee and Madelyn Jenks in the B session and Mike and Cathy Blumenfeld in the C session.

THE 11TH ANNIVERSARY of Phenix Club was celebrated with a dinner Tuesday at the home of Shorty Yost. Assistant hostesses were Dixie Harper and Bunny Richards. Members reminisced about the club's first year, and minutes of the first meeting in 1988 were read by Charlotte Altenbernd. New officers are Bette Heck, chair; Beverly Hornsby, assistant chair; Charlotte Altenbernd, secretary; and Barbara Pine, treasurer.
