Poje, a 5-foot-8 outside hitter and playing her fourth year of varsity, has keyed Tonganoxie's attack all season.
In a triangular Tuesday against Kansas City Piper and Perry-Lecompton, Poje had a total of 20 kills, three aces and three blocks.
She provided the decisive kill in the Chieftains' 15-6, 15-9 victory over Perry-Lecompton. She also had three kills to spark a 9-0 run in the first game.
"She's a very strong hitter," first-year THS coach LeAnn Bond said. "She also plays a nice back row. She has very good passes, is a good all-around player and does a great job blocking wise."
Poje is a three-year letter winner for THS.
