THE SEPT. 7 meeting of Kanwaka 4-H Club was called to order by Jason McCandless. Roll call was taken by reporting "the most embarrassing thing that ever happened to you." Officers were elected. Janelle Crawford and Nicole Smith gave a presentation on their recent trips abroad to Germany and Japan respectively. The next meeting is set for Oct. 5th.

SUNNY VALLEY EEU met Sept. 14 at Sunnyside School. Hostesses were Ruth Wiley and Doris Nottingham. Cindy Williams, Jefferson County extension office, gave a lesson on Food Safety. Final details were discussed regarding the concession at Rim Rock Track on Sept. 18. This fund-raiser was a success due to the help of a number of community volunteers.

VINLAND VALLEY 4-H CLUB held its monthly meeting Sept. 6. John Brown, prospective member, was present. Club elections were held. New officers are: Megan Kalb, president; Candi Lucero, vice president; Abby Lawson, secretary; Dennis Craig, treasurer; and Erin Regnier, reporter. For the program, Krystal Bateson demonstrated rabbit showmanship and Kelsey Mallon showed us the different parts of her violin. The next club meeting will be at 7 p.m. Oct. 4.
