PAUL Aldridge
Davenport, Wash. -- Services for Paul Aldridge, 88, Austin, Tex., will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Strate Funeral Home. Burial will be in Mt. View Cemetery, Davenport, Wash.
Mr. Aldridge died Sunday, Sept. 19, 1999, at an Austin, Tex., nursing home.
He was born Jan. 19, 1911, in Spokane, Wash., the son of Stephen and Elizabeth (VanSlyck) Aldridge.
Mr. Aldridge worked on oil tankers and hydroelectric dams in Austrailia and the United States until 1941, when he joined Todd Shipyard, Seattle. He retired in 1979.
He married Lucile Peak in August 1938, in Spokane. She died Jan. 9, 1995.
Survivors include two daughters, Linda Kehoe, Lawrence, and Epsie Shapley, Austin, Tex.; a brother, Carl W., Woodburn, Ore.; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
