Burglaries and thefts reported

A 20-year-old Lawrence man reported that stereo equipment valued at $1,170 was stolen from his vehicle between 8:30 p.m. Sept. 15 and 10 a.m. Sept. 16 in the 3600 block of West 24th Street.
A 46-year-old Lawrence man reported that $1,127 in stereo equipment was stolen from his residence between 12:01 a.m. and 11:59 p.m. Friday in the 2900 block of Stratford.
Someone broke into a coin machine between 7 a.m. and noon Saturday at the East Side Laundry, 409 E. 12th. When police arrived, they found quarters strewn around the floor. The burglar caused $2,500 in damage to the coin machine and stole an unknown number of quarters.
A DiCarlo Construction employee reported that a camera and stereo equipment were stolen between 9 a.m. and 7 p.m. Sept. 16 from 2301 Barker.

Police reports

Four lenses on airport warning lights were broken at the Lawrence Municipal Airport, 2500 Airport Rd., between 4 p.m. Friday and 12:30 p.m. Tuesday. Damage totaled $110 on the lights, which were on an 8-foot tall structure at the end of the runway.
