Scipio -- Services for William H. Maley, 53, Garnett, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Boniface Church in Scipio. Burial will be in St. Boniface Cemetery.

Mr. Maley died Tuesday, Sept. 21, 1999, at his home.

He was born Dec. 22, 1945, in Garnett, the son of Harold and Josephine (Christeson) Maley. He graduated from Richmond High School, and moved from Scipio to Garnett in 1997.

Mr. Maley was a production control supervisor at Taylor Forge, Paola, and was a member of the St. Boniface Church, Scipio, and the Knights of Columbus.

He married Louann Hermreck on Nov. 19, 1966, in Garnett. She survives of the home.

Other survivors include a son, Chad, Lawrence; two daughters, Lori and Melissa Maley, both of Olathe; two brothers, Carl and Dean, both of Garnett; a sister, Rae Newland, McKinleyville, Calif.; and his mother, Garnett.

Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday at the Farris-Feuerborn Memorial Chapel, Garnett. A wake service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at St. Boniface Church, Scipio.

The family suggests memorials to the William Maley Memorial Fund, and they may be sent in care of the Farris-Feuerborn Memorial Chapel, P.O. Box 408, Garnett 66032.
