Dodge City (ap) -- Kansas feedlot sales Monday:

Confirmed: none. Trade quiet. No sales of slaughter steers or heifers confirmed. Inquiry and demand very light. For the week to date including late Friday and over the weekend 59,000 head confirmed including 14,100 head or about 24 percent of previously contracted or formulated cattle. The last established market Friday 66.00-66.75, mostly 66.00. Asking prices and bids not established early Monday. Sales FOB feedlot net weights after 4 percent shrink.

Slaughter steers: high select to high choice mostly 3 1010-1212 lb 64.00-65.00. Slaughter heifers: choice 3-4 1022-1137 lb 64.00-64.50. Slaughter cows: high cutter, utility and commercial 1-3 breaking 33.00-39.00, high dressing 39.00-41.25; boning 34.00-39.00, high dressing 38.75-41.75, low dressing 29.25-34.00; other cutters 30.00-35.50, high dressing 35.50-38.00, low dressing 26.00-30.00. Slaughter bulls: yield grade 1 1400-2000 lb 42.00-46.25, high dressing 47.25, low dressing 35.00-41.50.
