VELMA BARTELS
Lincoln, Kan. -- Services for Velma M. Bartels, 79, Lincoln, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. John Lutheran Church, on Highway 14 south of Lincoln. Burial will be in St. John Lutheran Cemetery.
Mrs. Bartles died Sunday, Sept. 19, 1999, at her home in rural Lincoln County.
She was born June 27, 1920, in rural Lincoln County.
She was a homemaker, and was a member of St. John Lutheran Church and the Dorcas Society in Lincoln.
She married Raymond Bartels. He survives of the home.
Other survivors include a son, Vernon Ray Bartels, Lawrence; two sisters, Alice Hearn, Lincoln, and Ruth Zier, Salina; and two grandchildren.
Friends may call from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Harrison-Hall Funeral Home, Lincoln.
The family suggests memorials to Lincoln County Hospice or to St. John Lutheran Church.
