The game: The Firebirds' ground game totaled 415 yards on 51 carries for an average of 8.1 yards per carry thanks in part to Treanor and the offensive line of senior tight end T.K. Peterson, senior left guard Will Skepnek, senior center Thomas Champion, senior right guard Jimmy Hahn and senior right tackle Wayne Cobb.
Comment: "They all had a good game. They really did the last two games," FSHS coach Bob Lisher said. "Connor's effort is outstanding. He gets off the ball and he gives great effort, whether the play's to him or away from him. We've been real pleased with the improvement Connor's shown and the effort that he's given."
Honorable mention: Senior running back-linebacker Jake Lawrence (215 yards rushing, two TDs, six tackles); senior running back-linebacker Chris Wheatley (180 yards rushing, two TDs); and senior wide receiver-defensive back Brian Erb (one reception for a team-high 23 yards, six tackles).
