Burglaries and thefts reported
- A 19-year-old Lawrence woman reported the theft of a $300 camera, 87 compact discs valued at $1,305 and a CD case worth $20 from a motor vehicle on Sept. 7. The theft occurred at about 10:30 a.m. in the 1500 block of Sigma Nu Place.
Police reports
- A 25-year-old Lawrence woman reported she was raped in her home in the 1300 block of Delaware between 2:30 a.m. and 5 a.m. on Sept. 13. Lawrence police investigated the report and arrested a 25-year-old Lawrence man. He was charged with rape, aggravated sexual battery and theft of $40.
- A 29-year-old Lawrence woman reported a domestic battery between 8:35 p.m. and 8:40 p.m. on Sept. 12 in the 1900 block of East 19th Street.
- A 48-year-old Lawrence man reported an attempted blackmail in the 3800 block of Pinnacle Circle on Sept. 12.
- Police were investigating a report of gunshots in the 100 block of Indian Ave. late Friday.
