An exhibition of paintings of Louis Copt and Raquel Kreipe and the sculptures of Jim Brothers will be displayed Friday through Oct. 24 at Roy's Gallery, 1410 Kasold Dr.

An opening reception will be from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday.

Jim Brothers, Lawrence, will be exhibiting his work in limited-edition bronze and one-of-a-kind welded sculptures. Brothers is a nationally acclaimed artist and is working on nine sculptures for the D-Day Memorial in Bedford, Va.

Louis Copt, also a well-known Lawrence artist, will exhibit some of his most recent paintings, including scenes from France and Kansas landscapes. The influence of the old French master painters are evident in his new work.

Raquel Kreipe, a native of Brazil who lives in Texas, will exhibit figurative and still-life paintings that are colorful and expressive. Her art reflects the emotion and passion of life through her unique treatment of brilliant colors and style.
