Mahoney paces

Lincoln, Neb. -- Kansas University junior Sarah Mahoney finished eighth on Tuesday with a three-round 228 total at the Big 12 Preview women's golf tournament.
Mahoney had rounds of 74, 76 and 78.
The Jayhawks placed 11th with 960 strokes at the 12-team event.
Host Nebraska won with 906 strokes and Oklahoma State was second at 915.
Oklahoma State's Maria Boden won with 220 strokes. Results in scoreboard.
