First Quarter

9:03 -- Cortlen Johnson 1 run. Buffs took opening possession and went 77 yards in 14 methodical plays. Only one play -- Javon Green's 22-yard catch -- went for more than nine yards. In drive, Mike Moschetti went 5-for-5 for 51 yards to tie school record with 14 straight completions dating to last week. Kansas hurt itself with personal foul call on Quincy Roe on second-and-six from the 13. Jeremy Aldrich kick. (Colorado 7, Kansas 0).

5:03 -- Aldrich 49 FG. After CU's first score, the teams traded lost fumbles -- by KU's David Winbush and CU's Johnson -- before Kansas went three-and-out starting from its own three-yard line. On the short field, the Buffs went just six yards in three plays before Aldrich hit his career-long field goal. (Colorado 10, Kansas 0).

Second Quarter

14:11 -- Green 21 pass from Moschetti. Teams traded punts until Kansas took possession on own 14. Dylen Smith took Kansas eight yards in two plays before his third-and-two pass was deflected by Tyler Brayton and intercepted by Drew Wahlroos on KU 21. CU scored on first play. Aldrich kick. (Colorado 17, Kansas 0).

7:47 -- Marcus Stiggers 16 pass from Moschetti. After CU's second TD, Kansas took possession on own 20 and drove to CU 25, where, on fourth-and-four, Smith hit Joe Darden with pass intended for Winbush, and Buffs took over on downs. They promptly drove 75 yards in eight plays. Big play was 22-yard pass from Moschetti to Cedric Cormier and, two plays later, face mask penalty on Kansas. Stiggers, left uncovered, scored on third and eight. Aldrich kick. (Colorado 24, Kansas 0).

3:52 -- Aldrich 42 FG. After another three-and-out Kansas possession, Colorado took over on own 31 and went 43 yards in seven plays. Big plays were a 21-yard pass from Moschetti to Brody Heffner-Liddiard and 17-yarder from Moschetti to Eric McCready. (Colorado 27, Kansas 0).

:43.8 -- Joe Garcia 24 FG. Kansas took possession on own 20 and drove to Colorado's seven-yard line before stalling. Big play was gorgeous 44-yard pass from Smith to Harrison Hill, where Smith rolled right then threw across the field to a streaking Hill. Only other first down came on 13-yard pass from Smith to Hill on third-and-three from 26. (Colorado 27, Kansas 3).

:00 -- Aldrich 48 FG. Immediately after Kansas' first score, Buffs -- aided by 29-yard kick return by Ben Kelly -- went 26 yards in five beat-the-clock plays. On first down, Moschetti hurt left leg after getting drilled by Tim Bowers and went to sideline. Zac Colvin relieved and drove CU to 30 to set up Aldrich's kick as time ran out on the half. (Colorado 30, Kansas 30).

Third Quarter

9:06 -- Aldrich 41 FG. Kansas took first possession of second half and lost 12 yards in three plays when Smith was thrown for 20-yard sack on third down. CU too over on own 48 and drove to the 15, where Algie Atkinson threw Colvin for a nine-yard loss and CU had to settle for field goal. (Colorado 33, Kansas 3).

6:50 -- Michael Chandler 8 pass from Smith. Kansas went three-and-out and punted away, but Ben Kelly fumbled after six-yard return. Fumble was forced by Matt Jordan and recovered by Ocasio Cofield on CU 15. After gaining seven yards in three plays, Smith found Chandler in left corner of end zone on fourth-and-three from the eight. Garcia kick. (Colorado 33, Kansas 10).

4:52 -- Erb recovered blocked punt in end zone. Immediately after Kansas score, Jayhawks held CU to three-and-out possession. On punt from Nick Pietsch, Tim Bowers burst up middle and cleanly blocked punt into end zone, where Erb won race to recover. Garcia kick. (Colorado 33, Kansas 17).

Fourth Quarter

13:59 -- Johnson 7 run. Teams traded punts before CU took possession on own 31. On first play, Colvin hit Stiggers with 48-yard pass. Three plays later -- all runs by Johnson -- Johnson burst through middle untouched for score. Green pass from Colvin. (Colorado 41, Kansas 17).

13:31 -- Aldrich 40 FG. On first play after Johnson's TD, Smith hit Jason Gulley with pass that was ruled complete before he fumbled, recovered by Ty Gregorak. Colvin threw three incomplete passes -- one batted down by Bowers and one by Chad Coellner -- before Aldrich became CU's single-game and career field goal record holder. (Colorado 44, Kansas 17).

12:17 -- Kelly 96 fumble return. On kickoff after Aldrich's field goal, Carl Nesmith took kick five yards deep in end zone and dodged and weaved untouched before he was run down from behind by Terrence Wood. Return was longest nonscoring return in KU history. After two-yard run by HenrÃ- Childs on first down, Childs fumbled on second down. Kelly scooped up the ball on the four and returned it untouched. Aldrich kick. (Colorado 51, Kansas 17).
