Walter-Conway

Dawn Marie Walter and Michael Lawrence Conway, Highlands Ranch, Colo., were married May 22, 1999, at the Denver Marriott City Center in Denver with the Rev. Arnie Voigt officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Larry and Beverly Walter, Littleton, Colo. The groom is the son of Peter and Donna Conway, Lawrence.

Sheryl Buzbee was matron of honor. Kevin Conway was best man.

Bridesmaids were Karin Nicholson and Glenda Farmer. Groomsmen were Fred Walter and Wayne Dedloff. Kathryn Conway and Amy Buzbee were flowergirls. Mark Hulsey and Pat McCraney were ushers. Ashley Turner attended the guestbook.

A reception was held at the Denver Marriott City Center.

The bride is a 1989 graduate of Littleton High School, Littleton, Colo., and a 1994 graduate of Metropolitan State College of Denver. She is an assistant controller with Packaging West in Aurora, Colo.

The groom is a 1983 graduate of Leavenworth High School, Leavenworth, and a 1988 graduate of Kansas University. He is employed as a customer service manager with Woodcrest Homes in Denver.

The couple live in Highlands Ranch, Colo.

Spurlock-Courtney

Jody Lynn Spurlock and Private First Class Justin Neal Courtney, Lawrence, were married August 28, 1999, at Worden Methodist Church in Baldwin with the Rev. Bob Atwell officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Lonnie and Cheryl Spurlock, Lawrence. The groom is the son of Bob and Carolyn Courtney, McLouth.

Bobbi Austin was matron of honor. Staff Sgt. Cain Austin was best man. Chrissy Courtney was bridesmaid. Luke Taylor was groomsman. Colby Heckathorne was flowergirl. David Thibault was ring bearer. Kelsey Jo Heckathorne and Charley Jo Schwartz attended the gift table.

A reception was held in Friendship Hall at Worden Methodist Church in Baldwin City.

The bride is a graduate of Baldwin High School, Baldwin. She is employed with Chip's Conoco in Lawrence.

The groom is a graduate of McLouth High School, McLouth. He is in the U.S. Marine Corps.

The couple live in Lawrence.

Garvin-Krug

Sara Jane Garvin, Lawrence, and Jason Charles Krug, Russell, were married Aug. 14, 1999, at First Christian Church in Lawrence with the Rev. Ron Goodman officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Ronald L. and Jane Garvin, Lawrence. The groom is the son of Richard and Susan Krug, Russell.

Kelly Berry was maid of honor. Michael Krug was best man. Amy Garvin was bridesmaid. Michael Anschutz was groomsman.

Mikenzie Garvin was flower girl. Angie Packard was bride's attendant. Jay Garvin, Ashley Packard, Brent Homeier and Jerod Steckel were ushers. Rayna Ebert attended the guestbook. Casey and Sarah Dame, and Elizabeth Freundorfer served cake and punch at the reception.

A reception was held in Fellowship Hall at First Christian Church.

The bride is a 1996 graduate of Lawrence High School. She attends Kansas State University, where she is completing her degree in park resource management.

The groom is a 1995 graduate of Russell High School. He attends Kansas State University, where he is majoring in animal science and business.

The couple live in Manhattan, Kan.

Studer-Stoll

Emili Studer, Frankfort, Kan., and Brad Stoll, Lawrence, were married July 23, 1999, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Lawrence with the Rev. Bob Hasenkamp officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Dan and Vicki Studer, Frankfort, and Victoria and Rick Cagan, Hadensvile, Va. The groom is the son of Dan and Ann Stoll, Lawrence.

Brandi Studer was maid of honor, and Maggi Kennedy was matron of honor. Scott Smoots was best man.

Bridesmaids were Dana Gifford, Courtney Hoyt, Toni VanLerberg, Jessica Kufahl and Julie Fox. Groomsmen were Andy Peck, Jason Patchen, Matt Gowen, Matt Armbrister, Jay Kennedy and Brad Romme.

Maura Kennedy was flowergirl. Issac Smoots was ring bearer. Josh Grant was a server. Anny Byers and Sarah Cugan handed out programs. Jenny McWilliams and Janel Carpenter were lectors. Kevin Kufahl, Keith Cobb and David Patchen were ushers. Loretta and Allen Jones carried offertory gifts. Erin Brake and Carie Bartel attended the guestbook.

A reception was held at the Holiday Inn Holidome in Lawrence.

The bride is a 1992 graduate of Frankfort High School, Frankfort, Kan., and a 1996 graduate of Emporia State University, Emporia. She is a communications specialist with Tele-Savers.

The groom is a 1990 graduate of Lawrence High School and a 1996 graduate of Kansas University. He is a special education teacher with Lawrence public schools and an assistant football and baseball coach at Free State High School.

The couple live in Lawrence.
