Sales confirmed on 8,100 slaughter steers and 10,100 slaughter heifers Friday following the week's total confirmed sales of 33,600 head including 32,200 head or about 96 percent previously contracted or formulated cattle. Sales FOB feedlot net weights after 4 percent shrink. Slaughter steers: select and choice 2-3 1200-1355 lb 66.00-66.75, mostly 66.00. Slaughter heifers: select and choice 2-3 1060-1200 lb including Brahma Cross 66.00-66.50, mostly 66.00.
