Presidential candidate
to visit Johnson County
Sen. John McCain will pay a visit next week to Republican-rich Overland Park, as part of his bid to secure the GOP presidential nomination.
McCain, R-Ariz., will visit the Johnson County Central Resource Library, Overland Park, at 1 p.m. Tuesday.
McCain will tour the library and present a program about his recently published book, "Faith of My Fathers: A Family Memoir." After the program, McCain will answer questions from the audience.
He will also visit the Village Presbyterian Church, Prairie Village, at 7 p.m. that day. Tickets for the free program must be obtained in advance from the church or Rainy Day Books, Fairway.
