Overland Park — Shawnee Mission East defeated Lawrence High, 3-0, in high school on Thursday.
The game was scoreless at halftime. The Lancers scored three goals in the first 15 minutes of the final half. Scott Kramer had a shot go off the crossbar during the game. The Lions had 12 shots.
The Lions, 0-5, will meet Olathe East at 7 p.m. Tuesday at YSI. The JV will play at 5 p.m.
Lawrence High's JV won, 2-0. Eric Clark scored both goals. Patrick Darnell had one assist. Derek Scott had a shutout. Roland deBoer was the sweeper.
