Habitat celebrates
10th anniversary
Lawrence Habitat for Humanity will mark its 10th anniversary and dedicate its 33rd house on Sunday.
The dedication ceremony will be at 1:30 p.m. at Cornerstone Southern Baptist Church, 802 W. 22nd Ter.
An ice cream social will be from 2:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. at 1626 Lindenwood Lane.
Three Habitat houses in various stages of construction will be on display during the open house.
Habitat for Humanity built its first home in 1989. Since then, 46 adults and 83 children have moved into homes built by the organization.
